Sunflex Metalloy Pvt. Ltd. makes flanges in copper alloys for customers who specify by UNS grade, standard and drawing. The product range covers slip-on, threaded, blind, socket-weld, lap joint, plate, reducing, loose and custom flanges, in bronze, gunmetal, aluminium bronze and nickel aluminium bronze.

We work to the specification on the purchase order. That means the grade, the casting or product specification, the flange standard or drawing, the inspection level and the documents are all taken from your paperwork, not from a catalogue default.

Manufacturing

Flanges are machined at our units in Umargam and Umbergaon, Gujarat. Blanks are prepared in the form the specification requires — cast stock, bar, forging or plate — then faced, turned, bored, drilled and, where needed, tapped. Facing finish, bolt pattern and bore are held to the drawing or standard stated on the order.

Engineering and material expertise

Copper alloys behave differently from steels in casting, machining, joining and corrosion. Leaded bronzes machine quickly but are brazed rather than welded and are not used for drinking-water contact. Aluminium bronzes are stronger and more corrosion-resistant but cut slowly. Nickel aluminium bronze is the seawater specification, and C63000 is its wrought counterpart. We help match the grade and flange type to the service, and we say so when a specification looks inconsistent with the alloy.

Custom requirements

Non-standard bolt patterns, special bores and thicknesses, OEM marking and replacement parts for older equipment are routine. Send a drawing, a sample or a specification through the custom flanges page.

Quality

Inspection runs from incoming material to packing: material verification, dimensional checks of bore, outside diameter, bolt circle and hole pattern, facing and visual inspection, with additional tests when the purchase order specifies them. See the quality page for the stage-by-stage description.

Export supply and documentation

Orders ship with the commercial documents the buyer needs, including packing list and commercial invoice, plus Material Test Certificates and inspection documents where required. State your documentation requirements in the RFQ so they can be planned from the start.
